I cannot possibly put into words just how cute this night was. I was completely surrounded by the most adorable clothes, shoes and accessories that any new born to twelve year old would ever be able to dream. Everywhere I looked was more and more things that I was so glad that my kids were "mostly" to old for otherwise I would be completely broke!!!! I don't think I have ever seen such an amazing assortment of such beautiful products for children. The people at Kids Fashion Review did a terrific job organising this event.
It was a terrific setting at the Mars Gallery with plenty of drinks and hors d'oeruvres throughout the night. The showcase of childrenswear brands from throughout Australiasia, was quite extensive with about sixteen in total. For me it was a great opportunity to meet people that I have been connecting with over the internet - such as Agoo Australia, Czarque, Mudd Kids, Nanny Pickle, Old Skool, OUCH, YmamaY and more. But it was also so lovely to be introduced to Bacche, Cherry Pie, Chilli Kids, Eternal Creation, Little One Baby, Miatom, Oopsy Daisy Baby, Pink Chicken New York, Pipi Child, Pram Rock, Tea Princess and Toetum. (I hope I haven't left anyone off!!!)

The wonderful husband and wife team, Nathan & Kate Vale from Tea & Jam Photography, did a great job taking the photos for the night. I want to say a quick "thanks" to them, for giving me the use of these great shots that you are looking at too!!!

I am sure that many deals were done and many contacts were made as throughout the evening around two hundred and fifty people were in attendance. This was such a fantastic response for Kids Fashion Review and for all the designers who were on display. We were also given great Goody Bag that was packed full of wonderful things for us to delve into!!!

As a mum, I was so thrilled to see that there is beginning to be a number of labels that are addressing the huge gap in the "tween" market. This has been such a void and has caused many a headache for me and many other mums too. So there is promise on the horizons Mums, so hang in there. As a fashion blogger, I was delighted to see that at my every turn, there was more and more gorgeous items that I know will be snapped up quickly by discerning Mums. It was like a breath of fresh air to see childrenswear that many of which was environmentally conscious but also left me knowing that this really was clothing for children - age appropriate, fun, colourful, and of great quality!!! Things are definitely looking good for the future of our children if those involved with this night have anything to do with it!!!

It was great to meet you and I'm so glad you had a fun time. KFR throws a mean party huh?
